The Balearic race proudly announces that, with more than 40 days to go until the event, it has already surpassed the 5,000-registered-runner mark and is now offering the last available spots in its three distances: marathon, 22K, and 12K.
In 2024, the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon made history in Ibizan sports, becoming the largest sporting event ever held on the island, with over 5,000 athletes. All signs indicate that this new edition will once again break records, raising the bar even higher for a race packed with exciting highlights.
An Event with Strong International Appeal
Now firmly established in April within the national marathon calendar, the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon has become a favorite among European athletes. The numbers speak for themselves: 70% of runners who have secured their bibs come from abroad. The largest groups of participants hail from the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. However, the event’s reach extends beyond Europe, welcoming athletes from New Zealand, Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States.
Another impressive statistic for this Talentum-organized event is the number of female participants, who make up 45% of the total runners. Thanks to its wide range of race options (42K, 22K, and 12K), the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon is an accessible event for female runners of all fitness levels. Additionally, the race program will once again feature the Santa Eulària Ibiza Kids Run CaixaBank—a series of children’s races that allow the whole family to join in the celebration.
Ibiza: A Perfect Sporting Stage
Just a few days ago, the Balearic event unveiled its official 2025 race shirt, designed by the prestigious Spanish brand Joma, with three distinct designs for participants in each distance.
The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon has undeniably grown in recent years. In addition to promoting healthy lifestyle habits among island residents, the event plays a key role in extending Ibiza’s tourist season, as most visitors typically arrive during the summer months. As a result, the marathon also serves as a major economic boost for essential sectors on the island, such as hospitality and dining.
