The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon renews its commitment to the Association of People with Special Needs of Eivissa and Formentera. The entity is, once again, the official cause of solidarity of the event.
The Association of People with Special Needs of Eivissa and Formentera (APNEEF) serves children and young people with physical, mental and / or cognitive disabilities, helping in the full development of their autonomy and facilitating their integration into society through personalized therapies, guidance, and family support, as well as actions to raise awareness of citizenship. To achieve its objectives, APNEEF has a team of 30 professionals in the social, therapeutic, leisure and free time areas.
The association offers speech therapy, pediatric physiotherapy, therapeutic psychomotor therapy, social skills, pedagogy and psychology services to improve the quality of life of people with special needs in Ibiza and Formentera.
From the organization of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon an economic donation is given that includes the donations that the runners have formalized in their registration process.
Solidarity race to promote inclusion.
Beyond the economic contribution, the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon opens its program of competitions with a Solidarity Race in which children and young people from APNEEF participate. It is held on the morning of April 12 and is the first race of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Kids Run.
