The most emotional race of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon is back: Kids Run registration opens

Just two months remain until the ninth edition of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon, and the event is already approaching 5,000 registered participants. Once again, alongside the three traditional race distances (42K, 22K and 12K), the Santa Eulària Kids Run Caixabank will be part of the program — a non-competitive race offering children aged 2 to 14 the unique opportunity to take part in the event.

On Saturday, April 18, the day will begin with races organized by age categories: the Baby category, for the youngest members of the family born in 2022, 2023 and 2024, who will complete a symbolic distance of 250 meters; the Sub-8 category, for those born in 2019, 2020 and 2021; the Sub-10 category, for children born in 2017 and 2018, who will run 500 meters; the Sub-12 category, for those born in 2015 and 2016, covering a distance of 1,000 meters; and finally the Sub-14 category, aimed at teenagers born in 2013 and 2014, who will take on a 1,500-meter course.

More than just a race

Beyond introducing the youngest participants to the values of sport, this initiative reinforces the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon’s commitment to delivering an event for the whole family. Races for runners of all ages and abilities, side activities, and a dreamlike setting complete the organization’s proposal to strengthen Ibiza as a sports tourism destination.

March 3: Registration Opens

Official registration will open next Tuesday, March 3, and will be free of charge until all available race bibs are allocated. Registration, with authorization from a parent or legal guardian, includes accident insurance, race bib, refreshments and a finisher’s medal for all participants.
