The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon continues its journey towards the big day. On April 18, thousands of runners will turn the island into true runner territory.
As the event enters its final stretch, the marathon distance has become the first to sell out. All bib numbers for the 42K have been allocated, confirming the enormous interest generated by one of the most distinctive races on the national running calendar.
The demanding 42.195-kilometre course starts at the Port of Ibiza and, after crossing the island’s interior, follows part of the coastline before reaching Santa Eulària des Riu. A route designed to offer runners a truly unique experience: running alongside the Mediterranean while the sun sets over the island and enjoying the festive atmosphere, music and entertainment that accompany participants every kilometre all the way to the finish line.
This sell-out in the marathon distance further confirms the continued growth of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon, which year after year attracts thousands of participants from numerous countries and strengthens Ibiza’s position as a leading sports tourism destination. The combination of sport, stunning scenery and Mediterranean atmosphere has turned the race into an experience that goes far beyond the competition itself.

Due to the high demand from runners, the organisation has enabled a waiting list. If places become available due to cancellations or distance changes, bib numbers will be reassigned in order of request.

Last places available for the 22K and 12K
Meanwhile, the other two distances in the programme are entering their final days of registrations. The 22K and 12K races, starting in Santa Gertrudis and Santa Eulària des Riu respectively, still have bibs available.
This is the last opportunity to join one of the island’s biggest sporting celebrations, which once again aims to consolidate itself as the most massive sporting event in the history of Ibiza.
