The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon continues to fine-tune the details of its ninth edition, set to take place on April 18, with a clear objective: to enhance the experience of every participant. As part of this process, the organization has redesigned the 12-kilometre race to ensure runners enjoy a more comfortable, fluid and distinctive race dynamic.
The 12K will have its own identity within the event, allowing participants to run with more space and without interference from other distances. This decision aims to help each runner focus on their pace, the surroundings and their sensations, enjoying a cleaner and more personalized experience from start to finish.
One of the most tangible benefits of this renewal will be the finish line experience. The 12K will feature a more prominent, vibrant and visible finish, turning the most anticipated moment of the day into a true celebration for both runners and spectators. This approach also creates a more immersive final stretch, with improved conditions to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the event.
Meanwhile, the course retains its essence: an attractive and accessible circuit that appeals both to those making their debut at the distance and to athletes aiming to improve their personal best, always under the distinctive Run&Feel philosophy that defines the race. As part of this update, the 12K will start at 4:00 PM — an operational detail designed to further optimize the overall experience.
With more than 5,000 runners already registered, the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon continues to establish itself as the largest sporting event on the island and one of the most internationally projected marathons on the calendar, with over 70% of participants coming from abroad. The final entries remain available, although the forecast is once again to reach full capacity.
