Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon continues to showcase its commitment to social causes. On Wednesday, January 29, the race made its donation of €3,500 to APNEEF (Association for People with Special Needs of Ibiza and Formentera).
Francisco Larrey, the event’s general director, was responsible for presenting the check, made possible through donations from participants at the race held last April.
The main goal of this financial contribution is to support children and young people in vulnerable situations on the island and with special needs.
In addition to this initiative, Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon also promotes the integration of APNEEF’s young members by including them in the event’s children’s race: Santa Eulària Ibiza Kids Run Caixabank.
APNEEF and Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon: A Strong Partnership
On April 12, 2025, Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon will hold its 8th edition, featuring three race distances (Marathon, 22K, and 12K) while continuing its support for APNEEF.
For Francisco Larrey, initiatives like this “combine sports and solidarity, forming part of our mission to promote essential sporting values, including a commitment to the inclusion of people with special needs on the island. We are very proud to continue our collaboration with APNEEF for another year.”
