The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon organisation remains committed to promoting the event at major national and international sporting gatherings. This weekend, the team has travelled to Italy to take part in the Firenze Marathon, one of Europe’s most renowned marathons, which will bring together thousands of runners in the city of Florence this Sunday.
International promotion
This presence in Florence is part of the event’s strategic plan to increase its international reach. The promotional campaign began at the 15K Nocturna FibraValencia and made its first international appearance at the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, a key race for running enthusiasts across Europe. The team then continued its tour at major events such as the Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich and the Valencia Marathon, now adding the Firenze Marathon as another step in its international expansion.
Towards its most international edition
Already established as a benchmark event on the global running calendar, the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon is heading towards what promises to be its most international edition to date. Last year, the race welcomed participants from 50 different nationalities, and current forecasts indicate that this record will be surpassed in 2026. At present, 68% of registered runners are international, confirming the growing interest the event generates beyond Spain.
