The numbers don’t lie: Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon has become one of the most sought-after races on the national marathon calendar. After becoming the most attended sporting event ever held on the island in its previous edition, the 2025 race is already shaping up to hit similar numbers.
With three months remaining until its eighth edition, the total number of registered participants has already surpassed 4,000, reaffirming this Balearic event as one of the year’s most anticipated athletic events. In the marathon’s main race, with a certified 42.195 km route, there are only 200 slots left from the total bibs available (registration price: €85).
There are still more chances to secure a bib for the other two races in the program: the 22-kilometer race (€55) and the 12-kilometer race (€35).
With the added allure of running along the Mediterranean coast, Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon also attracts many international runners. The island’s European fame combined with its ideal climate for sports has led to international participation reaching 70% of the total this year. After Spain, the countries with the highest number of runners are the UK, France, the Netherlands, and Italy.
